Even a brilliant career can be a cover for the most sad stories. Lolo is in her current position after much struggle and patience. A single mother in a family of five kids, Jones had a difficult and impoverished childhood. She lived with her mother in a basement church and was always in motion. This nomadic life made it necessary for Jones to switch to a new school every year up until her first day of in high school. Jones, who was interested in track and field events during her time at Theodore Roosevelt High School, was able to live in a different place from her mother so that she could pursue her interests. She lived with different families in high school so she could be focused on her studies. Jones was a cellist with the school's orchestra and winner of Gatorade Track and Field Iowa athlete of the year award was awarded the Gatorade Iowa Athlete Award at the close of her high school career. Jones started her professional career in college as one the top hurdlers. In the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship, she won the hurdles 100 meters. She was also on the team who finished second in the 100 meter relay. Jones is a champion of hurdles in the indoor section at NCAA Championships both in 2003 and 2004. Jones had completed her education in 2005 began to work hard in track. Jones took home the Torino Memorial in 2005, as well as Ostrava and Heusden races the following year.
Brandt relocated to Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand at the close of her teen years. Her talent was discovered in Auckland through local cast director Brandt. Brandt was cast as a part of Naevia for the Starz show Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Her character was popular with audiences and production team members Steven S. Lesley Ann Brandt, born 2nd December 1981 from Cape Town South Africa. She is an accomplished New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt, along with the rest of her family, relocated from the United States to Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. In Auckland Brandt's first job, she was an agent for sales, and later was made an expert in IT. Lesley was featured in a variety of commercial ads after several modelling projects. Her acting degree was completed in 2008 and continued to study the methods of Meisner. The first big acting role for Lesley was in New Zealand's TV drama Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt has shown up on The New Zealand TV drama series Shortland Street in a visiting role as a supporting character. Then she was in the Sci-fi drama called This Is Not My Life that is based on the fictional city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt starred in the show Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia, a hostage who later appeared in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena Miniseries.
